Ryan Barton - President / Lead Consultant
About:
Ryan has been in the computer consulting industry for many years and founded the company that became Mainstay Technologies in 2002. He is currently the president of Mainstay Technologies and both works with Mainstay’s clients on projects and manages the Mainstay team.
Experience:
Designed his first website in 1997 and has been a computer consultant for nearly 10 years.
Hobbies:
Motorcycle riding, reading literature, developing business, spending time with friends and family (everyone has to say that!)
Jeremy Abbott - Senior Network Engineer
About:
A Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer, Jeremy is an extremely skilled network technician and is the team’s resident server, VPN, and security expert. He is in charge of all partnerships at Mainstay as well as heading up the network engineering division.
Experience:
Jeremy has been supporting numerous clients in the New England area for the last 8+ years. He is experienced in deploying a wide variety of products and supporting numerous industries.
Hobbies:
Spending time with his family, riding motorcycles, playing bass, and playing Xbox
Scott Byers - Senior Software Developer
About:
Scott is the head of Mainstay Technologies development division for websites, database, and RichClient custom applications. His years of experience, unwavering commitment to quality, and dedication to Mainstay Technologies clients make him an integral part of the Mainstay Technologies team. Scott's programming proficiencies include SQL, mySQL, C#, .NET framework, PHP, Photoshop, Apache, Linux, Microsoft networks, and more.
Experience:
Scott’s programming projects have included developing controller software for the million dollar Compaq Proliant ML770 servers, developing steering gear calibration software for TRW Koyo, developing luminescent bulb calibration software used by large corporations, and developing numerous websites and custom software applications and solutions
Hobbies:
FraggedNation.com, working out, Aiki Kempo karate, taking care of his pit bulls, good wine, friends and family
Rob Thomas - Website Developer
About:
Rob is a website designer and developer with many years experience. He works with Mainstay clients on creating and maintaining professional websites. His proficiencies include graphic art, XHTML, CSS, PHP, and MySQL in addition to experience in Search Engine Optimization (SEO).
Experience:
Rob has created many high quality websites for clients in various industries, including content-managed sites, Flash sites, and database-driven sites. He has an extensive portfolio of digital artwork and has worked as a designer on video games, online communities, and education websites.
Hobbies:
Art and design, music, discovering inspirational sites on the Internet, and spending time with family and friends
Melissa Abbott - Office Manager
About:
You’ll hear Melissa’s voice on the phone at Mainstay Technologies, and she interfaces with clients for the purposes of scheduling, ordering, billing, and all other office needs
Experience:
Melissa has been working in the I.T. industry for a number of years and is very skilled at making sure clients get taken care of quickly and effectively.
Hobbies:
Flute playing, preseving nature (specifically wolves), crafts, and spending time with family
Eric Shanley - Network Technician
About:
Eric is part of the Network Support team here at Mainstay Technologies. Eric uses his extensive knowledge of computers and networks to provide support for the computers, printers, and servers for medium and large sized networks.
Experience:
Eric is a Microsoft Certified Professional who has been working full-time as a computer consultant for last 4 years. He is experienced in providing support for numerous industries including medical practices, county facilities, municipalities, financial offices and more.
Hobbies:
Playing guitar, watching The Office, Boston Red Sox, giving to the local community
Drew Swiniarski - Network Technician
About:
Drew’s years of experience supporting networks and supporting technology make him an integral part of the support team at Mainstay. He works with clients on network support and is the in-house PC specialist.
Experience:
Drew has his Microsoft Certification on Windows Vista, has studied Computer Networking in college, and his experience includes support positions for networks, PCs, and telephone systems.
Hobbies:
Cooking, home brewing, Linux, cheese making, and spending time with friends and family
Reuben Bassett
About:
Reuben wears many hats for Mainstay – he works with Melissa in the office, fixes PCs, assists with projects, and handles phone calls – all while providing marketing expertise for the company.
Experience:
- Reuben has a bachelor’s degree in marketing from Cedarville University. He joined the Mainstay team in 2008 and has since been developing his existing PC skills and working with the team.
Hobbies:
Red Sox, cooking, motorcycle riding, friends and family
Melissa Byers - Graphics Design
About:
Melissa is the company's principal graphic designer for logos and other branding projects. She graduated from the University of NH in 2003 with a B.A. in Business Technology, and is currently working on a second degree in the graphic arts. Her business management experience and creative approach to design helps her effectively translate our client's services, values and goals into dynamic, professional branding materials.
Experience:
Her portfolio is diverse, comprised of logos, business cards and letterhead, postcards, brochures, signs, t-shirts, menus and print collateral. She also designs personal products such as custom note cards, social cards, postcard mailers and invitations. She designs primarily in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator CS3, but also works with PowerPoint to translate her designs to professional corporate sales and marketing presentations.
Hobbies:
Reading, Thai kickboxing and kettlebell training, playing with her dogs and shopping for shoes.
