What is your role at Mainstay?
My role at Mainstay consists of prepping computers once they arrive at our office and go to client sites to install them. I also take care of various other requests while I am on site.
What was your first memory of using computers?
My first memory of computers was being so excited to play Doom on DOS. My Dad spent hours learning how to set it up. I only remember typing the letter D and hitting enter. Ah, the good old days.
When you’re not found in front of a computer you are…
When I’m not in front of a computer screen I can be found doing astrophotography with my Dad, camping, fishing, spending time with my friends and probably sitting in front of another computer screen.
If you could go anywhere for an entire month, where would it be and why would you go there?
If I could go away for an entire month, I would go back to Yellow Stone National Park. I would try to visit the entire park. I’d go hiking and fishing while there as well. I took a trip out there many years ago and the place was unlike anything I had ever seen. Some parts of the park are completely unique to just Yellowstone.
What are you most frequently heard listening to?
Astronomy and the way the universe works has always fascinated me. I can often be found listening to documentaries, blogs and other videos about astrophysics or other similar topics. As for music it’s a mix of Electric, Pop, Country & Rock.
What is one thing you love about your career?
The one thing I love about my career is the ability to meet and work with new people. My job takes me all over the state to many, if not all, of our client sites.
What is one thing that everyone should know about Mainstay?
The one thing everyone should know about Mainstay Technologies is our commitment to creating a lifelong relationship. Everyone that works here treats our clients’ businesses and technologies as if they were our own.
