Hometown?

I’m from small-town Gorham NH, way up North and right at the base of Mt. Washington.  If you’ve never been before, I highly recommend it, especially in the fall when the foliage is at its peak!

What was your first memory of using computers?

The first memory I have of “using” computers was early on in elementary school.  My dad had just brought home a few old Dell Latitude laptops from work, and I made it my personal mission in life to “fix” them.  By the time I was done, no one stood a chance at putting them back together again.  Don’t worry, I’ve gotten better at it since then!

When you’re not found in front of a computer you are…?

If I’m not in front of a computer, you have an equal chance of either finding me puttering away on a woodworking project in the garage or doing something active outside.  Downhill skiing in the winter and waterskiing in the summer are both personal favorites, and I’ve even competed in barefoot waterskiing before too.

What was the last great book you read?

The last great book I read was The Art of Deception by Kevin D. Mitnick & William L. Simon, and it was all about social engineering.  It was originally published in 2001, but it’s mind-boggling how many of the scenarios and techniques it describes are still applicable today.

What is something unique about you?

If I had to single out one thing in particular, I have an uncanny ability like no one I have ever seen where I can always lose at Uno, no matter who I am playing with…

What would you do if you had an extra 5 hours every week?

With an extra 5 hours every week, I would most likely find myself spending it outside and enjoying the fresh air.  If there was time left over after that, I would probably try and learn to play the guitar, something I’ve always wanted to do but can never seem to find the time.

If you could go anywhere for an entire month, where would it be?

If I could get up and go anywhere, it would be Switzerland without a doubt.  I spent a week there while studying abroad and was blown away. I’ll be going back for sure as I have yet to paraglide over the Swiss Alps!

What are you most frequently heard listening to?

My playlist includes anything from Country to Jazz and everything in between.  I’m not picky,  but 70’s and 80’s rock will always be my personal favorites.  Regardless of what I’m listening to, you can be sure that something from AC/DC or Billy Joel won’t be too far away in the queue!

Favorite sports teams?

I’m not an avid sports fan, but I am a New Englander so I’m always down for a Patriots or Bruins game!
