Mainstay Technologies is pleased to welcome Corey Hoyt to the team as its marketing and communications manager. Hoyt brings nearly a decade of communication, marketing, and digital media experience to Mainstay, a 15-year-old company that has been growing rapidly.

As we serve more organizations who are leveraging the explosion of technology (and mitigating its downside), we have to up our game in the ways we communicate and lead,” said Ryan Barton, CEO of Mainstay Technologies. “Corey will be our strategic storyteller: writing, managing content, and delivering engagement and expertise in new ways to help share Mainstay’s values with a growing audience.”
Prior to joining Mainstay, Hoyt was the interim director of marketing and communications at Plymouth State University. During that time, he developed and implemented communications and marketing strategies to support recruitment and retention, streamlined marketing operations leveraging project management software, and hosted a series of skills-based workshops to support the growth of more than 100 employees.
Hoyt’s experience also includes working as the brand marketing manager at 2U, Inc, an educational technology company, and as the assistant director of marketing and admissions at Georgetown University in Washington, D.C. He earned a bachelor’s in marketing from Johnson & Wales University and a master’s in communication, culture and technology from Georgetown University.
