On Thursday, October 17, we were named one of 2019’s “Coolest Companies for Young Professionals” by Stay Work Play during its annual Rising Stars Awards event. A panel of judges comprised of young professionals across the state chose Mainstay as one of the winners among six finalists. Winners were chosen for implementing strategies that attract and retain young employees in a fun, supportive work environment, and setting an example for all businesses.

Ryan Robinson, our chief service officer, accepted the award on our behalf and shared, “We’re honored to be recognized by Stay Work Play and young professionals across the state. In the tech sector, flashy amenities are commonplace, but for us, company culture boils down to fostering a work environment where people are kind, patient, and honest, to each other and to our clients. That’s what we prioritize.”

We’re humbled that our commitment to strong values is recognized and appreciated by those outside the company. We are a third-time winner of NH Business Review’s “Best of Business” awards in the Managed IT Services category, a two-year consecutive winner of Business NH Magazine’s “Best Companies to Work For!” award, and a 2018 winner of NH Better Business Bureau’s Torch Awards for Marketplace ethics.

“We’re committed to conscious capitalism and giving more than we get. We want to create value for every individual, organization, and community we interact with,” Robinson said. “As employers, we aim to strengthen our relationships with the individuals and families who dedicate themselves to the work of Mainstay every day. It’s a core part of our mission.”

The Rising Stars Awards, an initiative of Stay Work Play, in partnership with New Hampshire Public Radio (NHPR), celebrate and recognize New Hampshire’s remarkable young people and the businesses that go the extra mile to recruit and retain them.
