Mainstay’s mission statement is “We give more than we get”, and that mission extends not just to our team and clients, but also into seeking to help our local communities thrive. That’s why we’re thankful that one of our long-time team members, Rick Dupuis, has stepped up to the plate to become one of just a few key “Sector Champions” for the Sector Partnerships Initiative (SPI).
SPI is a collaborative, industry-led program that provides funding, training expertise and other resources to help companies collaborate on workforce development needs together. There are five Sector Champions that represent the following sectors: technology, healthcare, manufacturing, hospitality, and construction.
These Sector Champions are either business leaders or public officials focused on helping build the critical partnerships necessary to develop training programs and other workforce services that respond to current and projected workforce shortages and gaps.
Those who know Rick realize that this initiative perfectly aligns with his passion for training and helping others develop the necessary skills to become true technology professionals. In addition to being a Microsoft Certified Trainer for 12 years and previously traveling the world while providing computer certification trainings for the U.S. Air Force, Rick currently works with Mainstay’s clients on IT strategic planning, training, project planning, and implementation, and does so with an infectious passion.
We’re thankful for all that Rick does for Mainstay’s clients, as well as being such a great example of the mission to give more than we get!
