What is your role at Mainstay?
I serve as a Technical Solutions Manager at Mainstay Some of primary goals are to help research and design the best solutions to ensure best practice security principles and technologies for our customers. The security landscape is always evolving, so having the opportunity to keep my skills up to date and play and research some of the latest and most innovation solutions is something I greatly enjoy assisting our team and customers with.
What are your technology specialties?
Microsoft technologies, strategic planning, training, project planning and implementations.
What professional events do you participate in, or what skills or accomplishments have you attained, that set you apart?
Prior to coming to Mainstay over 10 years ago, my previous career was focused on Microsoft Training and assisting my students obtaining Microsoft certifications.I have continued to keep my MCT (Microsoft Certified Training) and other Microsoft certifications current to not only keep up with the changing IT landscape, but to continue to grow personal and professionally as well. I have obtained MCSE certifications starting back with NT 4.0 all the way to server 2016!
When you’re not found in front of a computer you are…
When I am not working on in front of a computer, I enjoy nothing more than spending time with my family. My wife and two boys enjoy being out on lake Winnipesaukee in the summer and always enjoy being out in nature when we can.
What is something unique about you?
I traveled the globe while training computer certifications for the Air Force. I have had the privilege of visiting over 11 countries.
If you could go anywhere for an entire month, where would it be and why would you go there?
I would take my wife to Tahiti (where we went for our honeymoon) and spoil her immensely.
What are you most frequently heard listening to?
All kinds of music – mostly classic rock.
What is your favorite sports team?
I root for the Patriots and Red Sox!
What is one thing you love about your career?
I have worked very hard to get where I am, and I love being able to work at a great company that values our clients and partners. Our core values are very important to me, personally and professionally. It is also nice to face a different challenge each and every day – never a dull moment and work life never gets “stale”.
