What is your role at Mainstay?
I get to lead the technical team in service delivery, ensuring we are leveraging our different skillsets and roles in the best way possible, to have a positive impact on our clients. We all work closely together to ensure technology is reliable, smooth, secure, and serves the client well!
What are your technology specialties?
I’m proud to have my MCSA, MCSE, and MCITP.
What was your first memory of using computers?
When my daughters were young, they had the bad habit of turning off our PC instead of shutting it down correctly. Well, it only took a few times before the operating system blew up, and rather than having someone rebuild it, I decided to learn how myself. The rest, they say, is history!
When you’re not found in front of a computer you are…
Working on a house project or out in the woods on my ATV. Since we moved here from Wisconsin, we wound up with more land and less house, just the way I like it!
What was the last great book you read?
“Star Island”, a comedy by Carl Hiaasen. I’m more of a Stephen King/ Michael Crichton/science fiction reader, but this guy is hilarious.
If you could go anywhere for an entire month, where would it be and why would you go there?
I’d probably knock one off the bucket list and explore Australia. I’d love to head out into the outback and do some really hardcore camping.
What are you most frequently heard listening to?
I bounce between classic and alternative rock. While I love the older stuff, let’s face it – you can only listen to The Beatles, The Who, and the Stones so many times.
What is one thing that everyone should know about Mainstay?
After working for a number of IT firms, I can honestly say there is a special sense of camaraderie among this team. This is great both personally and professionally, since we’re always able to work together so well and bring our unique specialties to bear on any given project.
