What professional events do you participate in, or what skills or accomplishments have you attained, that sets you apart?
Currently, I’m attending Manchester Community College for an associate’s degree in Cybersecurity. I also have passed the first of two exams for the CompTIA A+, and am looking to take the second exam soon. I am very new to the IT field, so for me, it’s all about taking in as much information and skillsets as I can while I figure out what path is right for me. I am always trying to better myself in one way or another.
When you’re not found in front of a computer you are…?
More than likely running or going fishing (if it’s nice out).
What was the last great book you read?
I really enjoy the books that are based on the Halo video game universe. So a fresh one that comes to mind, that was a great read, was Halo: First Strike.
What would you do if you had an extra 5 hours every week?
Honestly, I would probably read more. I spend a lot of time with college and certification-related reading, so it is challenging sometimes to read textbooks for an hour or two and then read afterward. I really enjoy the brain exercise of reading a good story, and sometimes I definitely wished I had extra time to do so.
If you could go anywhere for an entire month, where would it be & what would you do (or why would you do it)?
Somewhere in Europe. Europe is a continent rich with so much history and so many countries in a tightly compacted area. I’m not really sure which countries would be included on my list over a month’s time, but a few I’d like to see at some point would be England, France, Germany, and Italy.
What are you most frequently heard listening to?
Mostly podcasts. I enjoy various comedian podcasts, sometimes historical ones, gaming, and sports pretty much summarize the topics I enjoy.
Favorite sports teams?
My favorite sports are hockey, football, and Formula 1. My favorite hockey team is the New Jersey Devils, Formula 1 is Red Bull Racing, and football I really enjoy fantasy football so most of the teams I watch are just the ones that have my players on them.
