What was your first memory of using computers?
My first memory of using a computer was on a Macintosh Color Classic II connected to a 2400 baud modem to dial into bulletin boards. I remember being very excited to play Oregon Trail, and vividly remember the sound of the dial tone of that 2400 baud modem as it connected to another modem.
When you’re not found in front of a computer you are…
I’m usually found in the back yard, swimming and hanging out with my wife and daughter. I’m also known to be found flying drones! Overall, though, camping is our favorite family activity.
What is a silly or interesting event that you’ve participated in previously, and what did you take away from the experience?
I attended a 3 day tattoo expo once a year for 6 years! I would video stream the event showcasing people getting tattoos, and the many talented tattoo artists. To this day it still amazes me how creative people are when it comes to tattoo art!
What would you do if you had an extra 5 hours every week?
If I had an extra 5 hours every week I would spend it with my family. Time goes by so fast and we are always so busy – it would be nice just to slow down and intentionally enjoy every moment.
If you could go anywhere for an entire month, where would it be and what would you do (or why would you do it)?
I would take my family in our motorhome and travel out West. I’d like to experience the beauty this country has to offer, and visit some of our national treasures along the way!
