What is your role at Mainstay?

As the Response Services (RS) Manager, help to lead the RS team by intentionally training and developing my teammates based on current needs and future growth path. I support the daily operations and team members, while also assisting in developing new and iterating existing processes to continually improve service delivery for our clients.

What was your first memory of using computers?

I was about 6 years old when I saw my older brother playing Starcraft Broodwar on the computer. There were big poofy guys called archons running around, and I begged him the entire week to let me play. He finally caved in and let me. Needless to say, it’s been impossible to separate me from a computer since that day.

When you’re not found in front of a computer you are…

Most of my time is spent weightlifting and doing various outdoor activities with friends.

What would you do if you had an extra 5 hours every week?

I would probably try to spend more time relaxing. Between school, work, certification preparation, and managing a social life, it would be nice to have 5 hours of Netflix.

What are you most frequently heard listening to?

I listen to all different types of music. In the gym I lean towards Dubstep/ Electronic or Hip-Hop/ Rap, but I also enjoy country, rock and pop music.

What is one thing you love about your career?

With IT, you get the best of both worlds. You have the opportunity to interact with people on a personable level while still doing technical work. The possible scenarios that you will run into are endless and this encourages you to always try to better yourself and keep up with the trends. There’s only room for improvement!

What is one thing that everyone should know about Mainstay?

Our mission, “We give more than we get” can be interpreted many different ways, but wouldn’t be possible without the team we have here. Everyone at Mainstay will work together to provide the best outcomes we can and ensure that we are living up to our mission. The mission is absolutely an image of who we are and what we accomplish as a team.
