What professional events do you participate in or accomplishments that sets you apart?

While working for the U.S. Army, I first became interested in cybersecurity and decided to pursue the Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification. Obtaining it was the milestone that led me to pursue more opportunities, eventually leading me to Mainstay!

What was your first memory of using computers?

I loved playing simple video games on our Windows 95 computer.

When you’re not found in front of a computer you are…?

Doing a little of everything! I love to learn, so I’ve picked up quite a few hobbies. My favorites are repairing or improving my project car and taking it to the track, spending time in the mountains hiking, and cooking up new recipes in the kitchen.

What was the last great book you read?

Currently, I’m reading Washington: A Life by Ron Chernow. I enjoy learning about American history, and this is one of the best biographies of the greatest American, George Washington. Also, the older I get the more wisdom I see in the words of the Good Book itself, the Bible.

What is a silly or interesting event that you’ve participated in previously, and what did you take away from the experience?

An international meetup of traceurs (people who practice parkour) in Boston. It was very physically demanding running with the advanced group, but it was a fascinating experience.

If you could go anywhere for an entire month, where would it be?

I’d road trip to some of the most famous driving roads in the country, like Tail of the Dragon and the Pacific Coast Highway, in my project car. And I would stop by some famous race tracks, like Road Atlanta and Laguna Seca, for some spirited driving on the way!

Favorite sports teams?

I’m a big fan of Formula 1; my favorite team is Red Bull Racing.
