What is your role at Mainstay?

I am responsible for assisting with any computer problems that may arise. Solving problems quickly and efficiently, while providing exceptional service with a smile.

What was your first memory of using computers?

My family acquired their first computer after I drove my parents crazy about getting one for school work. From then on I was hooked on learning and exploring as much as I could about computers and technology.

When you’re not found in front of a computer you are…

Spending time with my wife and kids mostly. Occasionally I get to sneak in some video game time but I also enjoy hiking and camping.

What was the last great book you read?

Although it is more of an educational book, I would have to say “Head First C#”. It is a book that I have been reading to teach myself more about computer programming.

What would you do if you had an extra 5 hours every week?

With an extra 5 hours every week I would be able to read more or spend more time taking walks through the woods.
If you could go anywhere for an entire month, where would it be and why would you go there?
I have always wanted to travel to New Zealand. I would spend time out there exploring all the different locations “Lord of the Rings” was filmed.

What are you most frequently heard listening to?

Almost anything. I find myself listening to more electronic music lately but I also like to tune into NPR in my car.

What is one thing you love about your career?

I get to meet a lot of new people and travel quite a bit. In a technology field things are always changing, sometimes daily, and I love the fact that I am constantly learning new things.

What is one thing that everyone should know about Mainstay?

Mainstay is a fantastic place full of great people. We have a strong dedicated team, always willing to help each other out. Everyone is knowledgeable on various things related to technology which makes it a great environment to work and learn in.
