Hometown?
I grew up and raised my family in Manchester, NH. Recently, I returned from four years in SW Florida. While the temperature was more pleasant in the winter, the pandemic made me realize that I wanted to be closer to my family. Hurricane Ian sealed the deal! Ruby (my 1 year old lab puppy) and I drove home in October. Pleased to be back in NH and part of the Mainstay Team!
What are your technology specialties?
I started as a programmer then moved to databases and networking. I have pretty much covered the full spectrum of technology in my career so far.
What was your first memory of using computers?
TI-99/4A with cassette drive storage. The first program I wrote was a grocery shopping list. If only I kept up my programming skills to create that as an app on iPhone’s when they came out. My first real computer was the 31 pound Kaypro 10 portable computer with a 10 meg hard drive and CP/M OS. Times have certainly changed. Today’s iPhones are 100,000 times more powerful, with a million times more memory and over seven million more times storage than the Apollo 11 computer!
When you’re not found in front of a computer you are…?
Reading every type of book, often several at a time, I pick up books depending on my mood. I also enjoy philosophizing with friends and local groups, cooking Italian, French or Spanish dishes or doing anything with my doggie, Ruby!

What would you do if you had an extra 5 hours every week?
Read more books!
If you could go anywhere for an entire month, where would it be & what would you do (or why would you do it)?
I have been fortunate to travel in Europe. If I had a month, I would buy a Eurail Pass for 30 days, pack a backpack and continue my travels. Where I would not want to go? Any place colder than NH.
What are you most frequently heard listening to?
I have very eclectic music tastes. Everything from Jazz, Blues, Country, Rock and Roll, Pop, Classical, Zydeco and there is always an audible book or two ready to go!
Favorite sports teams?
Any team from Boston.
